Gary spent twenty-five years in the business sector with British Petroleum, negotiating contracts and working directly with customers. After his first successful career, Gary has established a second career in Base Coat Painting, combining his twin loves of talking to people and not having to wear a suit anymore. He also owns two more hometown businesses: Trophy Hounds Hitting training facility and Freeze G's Sno Shack.

In his personal life, Gary is an avid sports enthusiast, college wrestling All-American, wrestling coach, baseball coach, softball coach, coach coach, and all-around community supporter and family guy. He’s a native of Bristow, Oklahoma where he still resides with his wife Holly (PA-C at Bristow Medical Center, former athletic trainer for the University of Arkansas football team, and fellow rabid sports fan), daughter Graycie (an insanely talented high school competitive softball player who has already committed her senior year), and young son Bo (who loves t-ball, wrestling, chasing his goats, and playing outside).

Obviously Gary likes to stay busy.
